The Butterfly Knife Case Hardened is one of the most prestigious knives in CS2. Its distinctive opening animation makes it one of the most recognizable knives in the game, and when combined with the Case Hardened finish, it can reach very high prices on the skin market.
The appearance of each individual item depends on the pattern seed, a number ranging from 1 to 1000 that determines how the texture is distributed across the blade. Most seeds generate a mix of gold, purple, and blue areas, but only a small portion produce patterns with a high amount of intense blue color.
Such variants are referred to by the community as Blue Gems and are among the most sought-after patterns in all of CS2.
Butterfly Knife Blue Gem
Every Butterfly Knife Case Hardened uses the same texture, but its placement changes depending on the pattern seed.
Key information:
- the pattern seed ranges from 1 to 1000,
- only a small number of seeds generate patterns with a dominant blue color,
