SellYourSkins is a site where you sell your Steam skins for real money. You pick items from your inventory, our bot sends you a Steam trade offer, and once the 7-day Trade Protection hold ends we pay you to the payout method you chose, for example PayPal, your card or your bank account.

On the Steam Community Market you only get Steam Wallet funds. You can spend them on Steam, but you can't withdraw them. Here you get actual money.

We buy items from CS2, Rust, Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2. The site is run by Digital Traders sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland.

You can sell items from four Steam games: Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Rust, Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2.

The item has to be tradable on Steam. Items that Steam doesn't let you trade yet are marked On Steam trade hold and can be sold once that hold ends. For other reasons an item can be locked, see Why are some of my items locked?

Selling takes a few minutes. After that you just wait for the payout.

  1. Click Log in with Steam and sign in on Steam's own website.
  2. Add your Steam Trade URL if the site asks for it.
  3. Pick the items you want to sell from your inventory.
  4. Choose a payout method and fill in your payment details. Got a promo code? Enter it at this step.
  5. Accept the 7-day hold and click Proceed to offer.
  6. Accept our bot's trade offer in the Steam app or in your browser within 15 minutes.

Your price is locked the moment you accept the trade. The payout is sent after the 7-day Trade Protection hold ends. You can start on the sell page.

You do. Steam login is the only way to sign in, and your SellYourSkins account is created the first time you use it.

The login happens on Steam's own website, so we never see your password. We also don't need your Steam Guard codes. Never type your password or codes into a chat, and never send them to anyone who says they're from SellYourSkins.

When the login page opens, check that the address is steamcommunity.com.

Steam Market prices are paid in Steam Wallet funds, which you can only spend on Steam. You can't withdraw them to a bank account or a card.

Real money is worth more than store credit, so the same items sell for less on cash markets. Our quotes follow those cash prices, so the number here is lower than the Steam listing. What you get here is money you can spend anywhere.

Only the payment provider's fee for the payout method you choose. We don't make anything on it. It's shown in the payment summary before you accept the trade offer, and on the Withdraw page before you confirm a withdrawal.

The fee depends on the method. The SellYourSkins Wallet has no fee.

Currency conversion can cost a little too. Card payouts are fixed in EUR and converted on payout day, and some bank payouts are sent in EUR and converted by your bank at its own rate. More on this in Which currency will I get paid in?

Yes. Select as many items as you like and they all go into one trade offer from our bot. You get one price for the whole sale and one payout.

Before you accept, check the offer in Steam. It should contain exactly the items you selected on our site.

It's a Steam safety feature from Valve. For 7 days after a trade, Steam lets that trade be reversed. Valve added it to fight fraud and account theft.

Because a trade can still be undone during those 7 days, we hold your payout until the period ends. The same 7-day hold applies to every sale, including Rust, Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2 items.

You confirm the hold before every sale by ticking "I accept the hold under CS2 Trade Protection". Your price is locked as soon as you accept the trade offer.

You can get paid with:

  • VISA/MasterCard (to your card)
  • PayPal
  • Bank Transfer (not available in the US)
  • Venmo (US only)
  • Revolut
  • Skrill
  • SellYourSkins Wallet (your balance on our site, offered when you sell)

The methods you see depend on your country. Each method shows its fee and minimum before you confirm.

SellYourSkins is run by Digital Traders sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland (KRS 0001253066, ul. Stefana Batorego 18/108, 02-591 Warszawa). Our Terms of Service are governed by Polish law. We're not affiliated with Valve or Steam.

How your sale stays safe:

  • You log in on Steam's own website, so we never see your password.
  • You sell through a normal Steam trade offer from our bot. The site shows the bot's name, Steam level and account date so you can check the offer.
  • You see the price and the payout fee before you accept.
  • Your price is locked when you accept, so it can't drop during the hold.
