Account & safety
4 questionsSellYourSkins is run by Digital Traders sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland (KRS 0001253066, ul. Stefana Batorego 18/108, 02-591 Warszawa). Our Terms of Service are governed by Polish law. We're not affiliated with Valve or Steam.
How your sale stays safe:
- You log in on Steam's own website, so we never see your password.
- You sell through a normal Steam trade offer from our bot. The site shows the bot's name, Steam level and account date so you can check the offer.
- You see the price and the payout fee before you accept.
- Your price is locked when you accept, so it can't drop during the hold.
Only accept the trade offer we send after you click Proceed to offer on our site. Before accepting, compare it with what the site shows:
- the bot's name, Steam level and account date
- the items, which should match exactly what you selected
Never share your Steam API key, password or Steam Guard codes with anyone.
If you get offers you didn't expect, or a sale shows Declined when you didn't decline it, someone may have access to your account. Revoke your API key on Steam's API key page, change your Steam password and let us know in the live chat.
Usually not. You don't need to verify your identity to sell.
We check users against EU, UN and Polish sanctions lists in the background. We may ask for an ID document only in specific cases described in our Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Go to your Profile, find the Delete account card and click Delete my account. After that you can fill in a short survey if you want to.
You can delete your account once your balance is 0 and no transaction is in progress. If you still have money in your balance, withdraw it first. Your transaction history is kept after deletion, because the law requires us to store sale records.
